Slim DVD-R/RW, CD-RW into IEEE 1394/ USB Devices
The SlimDVD is a 1394/ USB 2.0 to IDE bridge  equipped external enclosure for slim type DVD-R/RW, CD-RW drive.  With rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery built-in, the Slim DVD works without AC adapter connected.  No matter using USB or Firewire port connection, just connect the cable, it start to work.  With advanced power management technology, the SlimDVD uses limited power from USB or Firewire bus power, the insufficient power will be supplied by battery.  While SlimDVD is idle, the battery will be recharged by USB or Firewire bus power.

With high-performance Firewaire and USB 2.0 interface , the SlimDVD allows you to access data or burn DVDs, CDs at 400Mbps or 480Mbps speed.
